Kurume Kasuri has been around the center of Kurume City, Fukuoka Prefecture since about 200 years ago.
Fabrics produced. Along with Bingo Kasuri (Hiroshima Prefecture) and Iyo Kasuri (Ehime Prefecture), one of the three largest Kasuri in Japan. Cotton Kasuri, which is said to be softer and more beautiful, the more you wash.
