The causes of mold are "high temperature", "high humidity" and "dirty".
The most important thing is to remove and make it difficult to attach the "stain" that is a nutrient to mold.
That's why…This time, I would like to introduce the appropriate method for long-term storage of leather shoes.♪
Please check the procedure and the number of the image.
~ Procedure~
① Remove the Shoo lace and remove the dirt on the surface with a brush.
※Stains tend to accumulate in the wrinkles, so if you put a newspaper or Shoo keeper and stretch the wrinkles, the dirt will be removed more beautifully.
② Stains that cannot be removed are gently wiped with a commercial cleaner or a cloth that has been wet and squeezed tightly.
③ If the leather is dry, apply a thin leather cream. Once the cream penetrates into the leather fiber, wipe off the remaining cream on the surface.
※Oil can easily be dusted, so it can be kept with a minimum amount of leather for long-term storage.
④ When storing in a shoebox → Place a gap and place a commercially available dehumidifier.
When storing in a BOX → Put the dehumidifier together.
It is recommended that you follow the above steps and place it in a well-ventilated place regularly to check the condition!
